Organic Kefir Starter
For the busy moms, the campers, or the world-trotters... this is for you! Don't feel like babysitting kefir grains? Try this easy way to get a good quick probiotic in your or your child's daily schedule. It tastes milder than kefir made with kefir grains. Almost more like yogurt / slight sour cream flavor. Kefir is a powerhouse of probiotics... happy healthy gut = healthy happy families! Suggested directions: Stir in 1-2 tsp of powder into 8-16oz of milk and let it culture at room temperature for 12-24 hours. Stir it up and enjoy:) or chill after it is cultured and enjoy later. Blend in a little fruit and maple syrup for a tasty snack. 1 oz of kefir starter is approximately 20 teaspoons. 2 oz of kefir starter is approximately 40 teaspoons. The kefir starter is packaged in a resealable mylar bag. Once package has been opened, keep the oxygen absorber in the package. Store the opened package in a cool dry place. This kefir starter is made from [low temp] freeze-drying certified organic + grass-fed whole milk kefir.
